“History of Baghdad and its Delights”. A work by the author Yassin bin Khair Allah al-Khatib al-Omari (d. ca. 1232/1817). With refinement and investigation of Mi‘ad Sharaf al-Din al-Kilani. The work covers the history of Baghdad from ancient times to the time of the author, with a focus on the period of 941 AH-1220 AH, where the author tried to cover all aspects of the city of Baghdad – its citizens, shops, palaces, events, rulers, and also mentioned are Mosul, al-Amariya, etc.
