The author has added a new chapter about the health sector in the US due to its importance and impact on citizens and the controversy surrounding it. The book reflects her thoughts and experience in the US going back to a 1982 trip to study journalism. The author states that her views have not changed, but rather have been further emphasized by events. She speaks with her usual frankness, dealing with America and its relationship with its citizens, prevailing culture, domestic and foreign policy, and other subjects.
