Qira’ah Mu’asirah fi al-Qira’ah al-Mu’asirah قراءة معاصرة في القراءة المعاصرة

A scholastic investigation by Ṣuhayb Maḥmud Saqqar of the contemporary thought of Dr. Muhammad Shahrur (1938-2019), the Syrian philosopher and author. Shahrur’s views were controversial and in contradiction to other islamic thinkers and scholars. Saqqar looks at the cognitive tools used in the interpretation presented by Dr. Shahrur’s in «AI-Kitab wa ‘l-Qur ‘an: Qira ‘a Mu ‘asira» (The Book and the Qur’an: A Contemporary Reading) .
