Tanwir fi Isqat al-Tadbir التنوير في إسقاط التدبير

“The book of Illumination”, by the author Ibn Ata Allah al-Iskandari (658/1259 – 709/1309 or 10), the medieval egyptian maliki jurist, and a spiritual master of the Shadhili Sufi order. In this work he looks at workings and anxieties that are a part of the human ego, and offers Islamic resources to confront and overcome them. It is meant to offer steps to overcome issues and enhance spirituality within the Islamic ethics and law.
